Increasing interest in underwater monitoring has resulted in a design

of the devices for remote sensing. The magnetic field is one of the

important element in underwater monitoring. A component magnetic

technique is the favoured sensor configuration to search the natural

and artificial magnetic anomalies. The optical pumping component

quantum magnetometer provides the measurement of the three magnetic

components. The special circular modulation of the static magnetic

field in the vertical and horizontal planes consequently is used to

detect the magnetic components. The angle between the magnetic vector

and the respective axis is equal to the phase shift between resonance

signal and the modulated voltage in the respective coils. This method

provides high accuracy and sensitivity of the magnetic measurements.

The component magnetometer with this component measurement method has

light weight and dimensions, simple construction.
